Strong demand

RECYCLING-TECHNIK & SOLIDS in Dortmund expand

The interest in exhibition space at the RECYCLING-TECHNIK & SOLIDS trade fairs in Dortmund shows no sign of abating. The previously planned halls are already fully booked for the upcoming event on 9 and 10 October 2024. That’s why the organiser Easyfairs has quickly gone one better and added an additional hall. Additional lecture stages, a central business bar and the start-up area are located in the new hall and will ensure a high level of knowledge transfer and optimal networking opportunities. Despite the larger total area, the distances between the neighbouring halls remain short and all highlights are easy to reach.

”Even now, almost 10 months before the start of the trade fair, more than 10 % more exhibitors than at the last event have secured a place at the next RECYCLING-TECHNIK & SOLIDS Dortmund,” says Anna Lena Sandmann, organiser at Easyfairs Deutschland GmbH, who is delighted with the healthy growth. Three halls are already fully booked for the event on 9 and 10 October 2024 and the interest of companies in presenting their products and solutions in Dortmund continues unabated. The organiser is therefore responding promptly and opening another hall for 2024. This will increase the total exhibition space by almost 30 %. Nevertheless, the distances remain short and the highlights easy to reach.

A bucket load more space

In line with current demand, the new area in Hall 8 is largely focussed on topics relating to bulk solids technology, as most stand enquiries come from this sector. Nevertheless, the spectrum is not one-sided, as many of the companies located there also offer recycling solutions. “The overwhelming response confirms the high status of RECYCLING-TECHNIK & SOLIDS within the industry and shows us that we are on the right track with our trade fair concept,” concludes Anna Lena Sandmann based on current developments. Everything has been thought of in the room layout, even in the additional hall. The stand areas are centred around the central business bar. In addition to seating and catering, this offers the right ambience for exchanging ideas and making contacts in a more relaxed atmosphere. There will also be plenty of opportunity for knowledge transfer through lectures and presentations, as further lecture stages are also planned. This coming October, further experts will present tried-and-tested technology, trends and innovations in the industry and will be available to answer questions from trade visitors.

The start-up area is moving

However, some of the additional space will be reserved for start-ups. Previously located in Hall 7, the Start-up Area is moving to Hall 8, where newcomers to RECYCLING-TECHNIK & SOLIDS will now have plenty of space to present their innovative ideas and find future partners. The attractive start-up offers remain unaffected by this move. The organiser supports start-ups in their first appearance as exhibitors with customised and ready-to-occupy exhibition stands, special conditions and an attractive marketing package.

First come, first served

Although the space for exhibits, knowledge exchange and networking has increased by more than a quarter in Hall 8, interested companies should certainly not wait too long if they want to secure one of the coveted spots in Dortmund. Several companies have already seized the opportunity and booked one of the additional stand spaces. These include, for example, Cadfem Germany GmbH, Transitec Anlagenbau GmbH, Cerawear Systems GmbH and Neuman & Esser GmbH & Co. KG. So quick decision-makers have a clear advantage.
