The expanding waste management industry presents high productive and resource-efficient solutions in South-East Europe

Nowadays, it is more important than ever for advanced waste management and recycling solutions to reach the market more quickly.  For 10 years in a row  Save the Planet (waste management & recycling exhibition and conference)  brings together leading providers and their prospects. Within 3 days (16.-18. April 2019, Sofia/Bulgaria) it will be a platform for products launch, face-to-face contacts and inspiration for new projects in SE Europe. The various services provided by Via Expo help exhibitors find local distributors and clients.

Highlights

Resource-efficient waste management solutions will be demonstrated at the Austrian Pavilion. Lindner-Recyclingtech sees a growing potential in the South-East European market and has already realized various projects there. The focus of its participation will be on innovative shredders for the processing of premium SRF and RDF. EREMA has recently presented the new global innovation Vacunite. The Austrian producer of plastics recycling machines brings together its Vacurema® bottle-to-bottle process with newly patented, vacuum-supported solid state polycondensation (SSP) from Polymetrix in this innovation.

For more than 20 years, Amandus Kahl has delivered plants from the reception to the production of new products from waste tyre crumb worldwide. The latest enhancement of the technology is the processing of tyre crumb to finished products to increase their value.

Hitachi Zosen Inova delivers a solid and robust technology through which non-recyclables can be transformed into cost effective, sustainable and clean electric power and heat.

The accent in the Prime Technologies‘s presentation will be a new and unique technology for the industry applied in the machines with hybrid drive (diesel/electric). Aside from the lower operating costs in comparison with the standard diesel engine, it has a much lower emission rate, which is an additional environmental benefit.

A wide range of waste containers and a web-based information system that allows full computerization of the waste collection cycle can be seen at the stand of M&M Fruit – a branch of JSO Plastic Spa. and Tešno Plastica Hellas A.E.

Innovambiente is a system to manage municipal waste collection processes, from startup to collection monitoring. It will be presented by the Italian company Innova and has many benefits – it contributes to reducing taxes for urban waste collection, helps increase recycling rates by more than 60 %, etc.

The parallel conference will highlight new trends and good practices that can be successfully implemented in SE Europe. Circular economy, funding of waste management projects, waste management & recycling solutions will be among the topics.
