The packaging machine HSM ProfiPack P425 was awarded the coveted Benelux Office Products Award 2018. The intelligent product solution from HSM GmbH + Co. KG came out on top in the category “Facility Products“ in competition against many other innovative products. The prize-giving ceremony took place on 11th October 2018 in Rotterdam. Patrick Nijhuis, Area Sales Manager for Holland and Belgium at HSM, was at the ceremony to proudly accept the award on behalf of HSM.

The expert jury, whose members are selected from specialist and retail trade, business consultancies and the trade press, had a multitude of innovative products and concepts to judge. At the end of the competition, HSM’s product solution won. In its laudation, the jury only had positive words for the HSM ProfiPack P425 packaging machine:

“With the concept of taking waste material and turning it into packaging, the HSM ProfiPack P425 packaging machine fits seamlessly into society’s quest for sustainability. It perforates and bolsters up cardboard and turns it into universally usable packaging material which is as good as new. As well as being a positive contribution to the environment, the machine also saves a significant amount of money – and naturally, this mobile solution from the German family business HSM also meets all (German and international) quality requirements and safety standards.“

About the HSM ProfiPack P425 packaging machine:

The HSM ProfiPack P425 packaging machine is an ingenious solution for all shipping and storage areas. It bolsters up used cardboard and turns it into versatile packaging material which is as good as new. This saves costs and is, at the same time a sensible and practical contribution to environmental protection.

This powerful packaging machine processes up to three layers of cardboard in one work step, turning it into padding mats or bolstered packaging material. The packaging material is universally usable and provides optimum protection for objects – either as a mat or to fill up empty spaces. The cardboard is cut and perforated in one work step at a convenient working height with an infinitely variable processing width.

The HSM ProfiPack is manufactured in Germany and has a 230 V power connection with a newly developed, powerful and efficient drive concept for continuous operation. The induction hardened cutting rollers are made of solid steel and are impervious to staples. Both the feed-in speed and the bolster volume of the packaging material are variable. The intuitive operation with LED display is via a robust membrane keypad. The emergency off switch ensures a high degree of operator safety.
