Conor Hegarty, General Manager MDS explained: “Up until now, many customers have had to rely on traditional recycling trommels or scalpers for the scrap and metal recycling segment, which often lacked the durability required for processing metals. MDS identified the need for a machine specifically dedicated to handling the toughest of tasks.”

The SCRAPMASTER 400 builds upon the foundation of the successful M412, a compact, versatile machine for screening lightweight materials to recycling hefty demolition waste. After extensive research and consultation with customers and distributors, MDS has taken that platform and significantly enhanced it to offer customers who screen scrap metal the perfect solution for their needs.
