After more than 20 years in Biovac of which 17 years as CEO, Petter Mellquist has found the time is right to move on and chose Envac Norge for his next adventure. As Managing Director, he has extensive experience in adapting to organisations, cultures, systems and requirements at the national, Nordic, European and Chinese levels. After two decades as head of Biovac Environmental Technology AS, he is well aware of the requirements placed on businesses owned by listed companies, both in terms of reporting lines, regulations and information sharing.

Professionally, Petter Mellquist is an operationally interested, involved and curious leader who builds strong teams. He practises an "open door" policy where no case is too small or big. By nature, he is fundamentally, continually, and optimistically convinced that people perform best in well-composed teams where openness, honesty and dedication are fundamental pillars, all which are values close to Envacs heart.

“After more than twenty fantastic years at Biovac, I have now decided to move on. Although it is with some sadness that I am leaving good colleagues, a market-leading company and an industry that I have come to know well, it is with great excitement, pride and humility that I take on the role of Managing Director of Envac Norge AS. I'm really looking forward to new challenges as part of team Envac,” Petter Mellquist describes his new opportunity.

Envac is one of the most innovative players in the global automated waste collection industry and the inventor of the pneumatic waste collection system. With innovation and ingenuity, the company leads the design and implementation of next-generation recycling using resource-efficient waste handling. The vision is to create smarter cities, improve quality-of-life today, and help secure a greener planet for future generations. “We are really looking forward to having Petter join us. His experience and personal qualities are a perfect match for our Norwegian company. Many interesting projects and opportunities are coming our way and we are certain Petter is the right person to develop, expand and utilize those in the best possible way going forward,” said Patrick Haraldsson, CEO Envac North Europe.
