Tandberg Engineering AS is a high-tech company with extensive experience in working with robotics. The company’s goal is to become a major player in the waste and recycling industry and ensure that recyclable resources remain in the circular economy. Tandberg Engineering AS has already represented ZenRobotics at Avfall Norge – Arskonferansen (Waste Norway – Annual Conference) 2023, where they showcased a ZenRobotics Fast Picker, and were proud to have been nominated for the ‘exhibition award’ among 60 exhibitors. They have also signed an agreement with ZenRobotics and with Bjorstaddalen to establish a fully robotised, efficient, and cost-effective Material Recovery Facility (MRF) at Bjorstaddalen’s plant in Norway. Furthermore, the company’s location in Larvik, Norway, and close to Torp airport and the E18 motorway, means that Tandberg Engineering AS has access to expedite parts, service, and maintenance support to customers throughout the country.

“It has been both exciting and rewarding to work with ZenRobotics and their robots,” said Jorn Tandberg, the CEO of Tandberg Engineering AS. “ZenRobotics recycling robots are capable of sorting materials with precision and speed, significantly improving the efficiency of recycling facilities. They also reduce contamination and increase the quality of recycled materials. This means more material can be processed and given a new life, reducing waste, conserving valuable resources and overall reduce our carbon footprint and lessen the strain on our environment.”

“We already have several prospects in Norway, where we believe the increase of robots will continue rapidly,” he continued. “Our projects have also received a lot of international attention, which has also been encouraging. As we look ahead, it is evident that recycling robots are at the forefront of a more sustainable future. Their contributions to waste reduction, resource conservation, and a cleaner environment are nothing short of remarkable. We are pleased to be a part of this revolution.”

Rainer Rehn, Regional Sales Manager of ZenRobotics concluded, “We have enjoyed a strong and ongoing relationship with Tandberg Engineering, which is evidenced by numerous signed orders and successful deliveries. Tandberg's exceptional professionalism has left a lasting impression on us. Their ability to offer comprehensive turnkey solutions tailored for the Norwegian market positions them as an excellent partner for our future customers as well. We are excited to further enhance our relationship with Tandberg."
